What is Boudoir you ask? It is a french word that simply means the ladies dressing room. I see it to mean many things depending on who you are and your personality. It usually is very private, and intimate. Some may like to read poetry, roll around on silky sheets, simply be alone, a little corner made just for you. A place to feel loved or a place where you are a little frisky. It just depends, it can also embrace many pieces of your personality. The bedroom is the place where most of my clients love to be photographed. You would be surprised how creative that space can be...sometimes just a corner in the room or a spot where the sun shines in through the window. So many possibilities! Who is Bishop Palermo Boudoir Photography?

Bishop Palermo Budior Photography is Photographer Evan Bishop and Make-up Artist Nicole Palermo. After working together for many years Evan Bishop and Nicole Palermo decided to pursue their joint passion of Boudior Photography and created Bishop Palermo Boudoir Photography or BPSquared. We love creating unique looks that range from classic Pinup style images complete with hair designs and makeup to contemporary Maxim and Playboy style images.

Personal Reasons for a Boudoir Session..
Well let me first share my experience. I wanted to create some beautiful pictures for my husband as a surprise for Christmas, well his jaw dropped to the ground. I also wanted to feel special and since I am a lover of all Pinup, I thought I would pay tribute to an era, that I adore. So first and foremost: Boudoir Sessions can be a special time to feel beautiful and embrace who you are. Of course they can be a time to create a treasured gift for someone you love, A tantalizing way of keeping the flame burning, maybe you have conquered a recent obstacle in your life and you want to reward yourself. Maybe to send that special soldier, and hero in all of our eyes, a reminder that he is loved and to come home safely. My favorite is PROOF of how gorgeous you are! We are all going change so have something special to mark that time in your life. Lets face it we were not all born models, however we can all be a model for a day...I mean it. Just like models they have a team of special people, creating the looks and bringing it all together! I am not saying they are not breathtaking naturally..but we all need a little help...we don't wake up looking like the runway leads into our kitchen right to the cofee pot. Lets be real here!

Boudoir is for women of all ages, women that want to embrace their sensuality or life! You can be 31 or 61...it is all about you!
A fun session is that of an expectating mom....a photojournalistic approach at capturing one of the most special times in your life...and embracing your curves! A Boudoir session is perfect for a model creating work for her portfolio..this can be high fashion or more intimate. So what I am trying to convey, to you is, these one of a kind photos can represent that special time in your life to feel comfortable in your own skin, maybe a time to let go of an image that you have created for yourself or that you have carried with you, no matter what the reason it is a time for you..or to embrace a new you!

What should I expect from a boudoir session?
To be pampered, for the day, and to feel beautiful inside and out. This time is about your needs, and how you feel as a woman or as a couple. Evan and I are here to create your vision and also to really have fun with this!
BACK TO LIST How long does a session last?
We offer all kinds of packages and you can also pick and choose what is most important to you for your session. Sessions can last 2-8hours..depending on how many looks you would like to do! Basically whatever your heart desires.

I am your girl for this..bein a woman with curves I like, and curves I want to go away and never come back..I work with you on your fashion and wardrobe styling. I have created looks for years for all of my clients, and this is a time to really focus on your body and what will exsentuate everything you love about it! Together we make sure you are comfortable and feel amazing in your choices.I will also provide you with links to the most amazing online boutiques..or we will go shopping together. I also have a beautiful wardrobe that you can choose from and a jewelry collection! There are so many wonderful places we can shoot. The choice is where you feel most comfortable...my home is set up like a studio and is a romantic little cottage, we can shoot at your home, a special venue, even outside when we are trying to create a mood. There are many beautiful places, and Evan and I really work with you on choosing what is best for you!
BACK TO LIST Can we meet before the shoot?
Yes of course. It is a must. WE have so much to discuss and go over with you. Your consultation is our gift to you..it is a time to really get to know one another, sit back and start creating your vision. Sometimes it lasts an hour and sometimes two...all we care about is you and all of your needs being met.
BACK TO LIST Who will see the images?
You are in control of your images. They are for your eyes only to see first and then, and only then If you would like to select a picture, for us to display in our gallery. Wonderful...If not the images are yours and whoever you would like to share them with. Your privacy is our first priority. Everything Evan and I create is tasteful...If here is something that you want to express in your pictures...that is a bit more seductive...we will have a contract stating..that they are for your EYES ONLY.

Of course, your body is just that YOURS. Whatever is your comfort level and whether it is semi nude, fully nude, fully clothed, the choice is yours. We work with you and your ideas. Our session is private, and our creative skills can create the most timeless artistic images.
